Position: Primary English Teacher – full-time

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Be a native speaker of the Hungarian language and fluent in English.
- Has experience in teaching either the British National Curriculum or the Hungarian Curriculum: having both is an advantage.
- Can contribute to the development of the PE Department, offering creative opportunities to enrich the learning experience of students at ISB
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
- Support the school’s mission and values, contributing to a vibrant school community.
Requirements:
- College or university degree with a major in Physical Education
- Knowledge of Cambridge and IB curricula
- Professional commitment
- Openness to collaboration with a diverse, Hungarian and international teaching staff positive, child-centred pedagogical methods
Preferred:
- Experience in bilingual or international education

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Primary Art Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will inspire and engage primary-aged children through both practical art-making and the exploration of art theory, fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate art lessons that balance practical activities with art theory.
- Introduce students to a variety of techniques, media, and artistic styles.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression in a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners and abilities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Maintain classroom resources, tools, and materials in an organized and safe manner.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and displays of student artwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching primary-aged children.
- Strong command of spoken and written English (high level required).
- Background in art education, fine arts, or a related discipline.
- Ability to deliver both theory and practical lessons in a dynamic, engaging way.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering creativity and artistic growth in young learners.
